The modules under WSQ Advanced Certificate in Retail Supervision are developed for retail professionals at the supervisory level, who are given responsibility for other workers in their roles, provide team management and guidance, as well as take charge of resource planning and allocation.

These include:

• Sales Supervisors
• Customer Service Supervisors
• Senior Cashiers
• Team Leaders
• Branch / Outlet Supervisors
• Display Artists
• Senior Sales Consultants / Representatives

To qualify for a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Retail Supervision, individuals must successfully complete:

• 5 core modules, and
• 4 elective modules

Alternatively, individuals may choose to learn a certain module or a collection of modules relevant to needs or occupation. A WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be awarded upon the completion of each training modules and passing the required assessments.

• Coordinate Interaction with Customers

• Comply with Legal Requirements at the Workplace
• Prepare and Facilitate On-The-Job Training Programme
• Conduct Competency-Based Assessment
• Lead a Service Team *
• Build Relationships with Customers *
• Implement Continual Improvements in Service Delivery *

* Participant may select only one of the three Service Excellence modules as an elective module.

Course Fee
Singapore Citizen / PR : $15 per module (exclusive of GST)
Non-Singapore Citizen / Non-PR : $343 per module (exclusive of GST)

Entry Requirements

• GCE 'O” level Credit in English and Mathematics / WPLN score: Level 5 for Reading, Listening and Numeracy.
• Currently working in retail sector or unemployed, and have or had at least 2 years of retail working experience at supervisory level, in addition to meeting the admission requirements.
• Currently working in non-retail sector or unemployed, and have or had at least 3 years of working experience in supervisory/managerial position, in addition to meeting the admission requirements.
