This course empowers participants to leverage the Carousell platform for retail success by identifying and prioritising business needs through effective information gathering and strategic analysis.

Attendees will learn to build a compelling business case that highlights the platform’s impact on growth and operational goals. The course covers essential e-commerce strategies, key marketplace components, and practical steps to onboard and start selling on Carousell.

By developing these skills, learners will gain competencies to optimize online sales and advance their careers in digital retail, aligning with the evolving demands and opportunities in the e-commerce landscape.

Class Schedule Information

Classroom: 1 day (9am - 6pm)
Asynchronous Project: 2 hours IMPORTANT NOTE: Students do not have to attend classes for their asynchronous project, but are expected to complete the assigned project at their own time. Completed assignments are to be submitted as advised by trainers.

Course Topics

1. Overview of Carousell’s structure, target audience, and competitive advantages in the e-commerce landscape
2. Building a Business Case for Carousell
3. Crafting targeted e-commerce strategies to maximize visibility on Carousell.
4. Track performance using Carousell's analytics tools

Course Learning Outcomes

Course participants will acquire the following Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

1. Identify and prioritize business needs and effectively develop a business case that demonstrates the potential impact of selling on Carousell.
2. Design, manage, and execute eCommerce strategies aligned with organizational goals, specifically tailored to the Carousell marketplace.
3. Leverage Carousell platform and apply learned tactics to optimize product listings, increase visibility, and drive sales growth.
