This course empowers participants with the essential knowledge and skills to start a sustainability-focused eCommerce business. Learn to identify eco-conscious market opportunities and trends, leading to the the setup of an online business at key eCommerce, eMarketplaces, and social commerce platforms.
A unique feature of the course is a hands-on practical session where participants craft a sustainable product by recycling or upcyling leather materials through guided methods. Participants will also acquire the skills of high-impact mobile photography that allow the capture of product images to drive audience engagement.
By course completion, participants will gain practical knowledge and skills to apply in their current roles or reskill for new opportunities in the sustainability and eCommerce sectors, with a focus on environmental sustainability management and stewardship.

Classroom: 1 day (9am - 6pm)
Asynchronous Project: 2 hours IMPORTANT NOTE: Students do not have to attend classes for their asynchronous project, but are expected to complete the assigned project at their own time. Completed assignments are to be submitted as advised by trainers.

Course participants will acquire the following Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- Gain insights into sustainability eCommerce opportunities through understanding impacts and market demands.
- Understand the essentials of setting up an eCommerce business through familiarisation of the key eCommerce, eMarketplaces and social commerce platforms.
- Take high-impact photos using your smartphone that enhance audience engagement with mobile camera techniques.
- Craft a sustainable product by recycling or upcycling leather materials with guided methods.
