This 1-day Course introduces learners to Sustainability and how it can be practically applied in eCommerce through a professionally-guided, hands-on learning experience. Designed for anyone who wants to build practical skills in developing new eco-conscious products or business ideas, this course is also ideal for corporate teambuilding - allowing teams to learn about the practical aspects of Sustainability practices as well as acquire new skills together. Participants will get an insight into how sustainability principles can be applied to everyday product choices, packaging, customer communication, and online selling. In this specific Course with our partner, Scentopia, participants will create their own 50ml botanical-based perfume – with a Halal option – during a guided workshop by professional instructors, learning at the same time how to identify the sustainability value behind the ingredients used. You will then learn Mobile Photography techniques to capture product images, developing compelling content that both appeals and communicates product value clearly and responsibly.
Participants will also get an introduction to practical Social and eCommerce - including platform selection, product presentation, content messaging, customer engagement, and fulfilment considerations for product-based selling. You will get an opportunity to explore how platforms such as Carousell, Shopee, TikTok Shop, Instagram, and Facebook can support different selling goals and target audience.
By the end of the course, Participants will have acquired foundational knowledge and skills in creating a sustainable product, as well as the ability to develop a simple Sustainable Product Action Plan that connects their Sustainable Product idea, Marketing Content and Digital Commerce platform that supports next steps for online showcasing or selling.
